Bonjour, welcome! I am glad that you are here today. Here is some information about my new book:
Vincent Van Gogh once said, “There is but one Paris.” I agree, as my experiences in Paris and with the French culture have been life-changing in so many ways. I have learned how to live a more beautiful and fulfilling life. It has brought me much happiness! The French work to live instead of living to work. They truly embrace life in so many wonderful ways that are discussed in this book. That joie de vivre, the joy of living, is seen everywhere: in the cafés, the shops, the pâtisseries, the tea rooms and the restaurants. It is trulyinvigorating! People really live and that inspires me to want to live better. I once saw a poster that said if you love life you will love France. How true this is! Throughout my life I have yearned and searched for ways to live a more beautiful, fulfilling life. I found what I was looking for in France.
I touch on some cultural differences and other intriguing facts. I share stories about my time in Paris. These stories make the city and the people come alive.
Writing this book has been deeply personal for me on numerous levels. I ask, “Why do people love Paris so much? What is the allure of Paris, France the most visited city and country in the world?” My search and the answers lead me to write this book. I am excited to share what I learned and how it changed my life.
